Detailed notes
    - 2007 two CD collection of BBC Sessions from the Scottish rockers led by former Altered Images/Hipsway bassist Johnny McElhone and the charismatic and captivating Sharleen Spiteri. This wonderful collection features 25 of the bands’ In Session recordings made for the BBC at Maida Vale studios during the promotional tours for some their chart topping albums, where the ‘under-the-gun’ pressure of having to re-record songs in single takes creates fantastic alternate versions of some of their biggest and best tracks; a stunning, stripped down 'Say What You Want', a fabulous early take on 'Black Eyed Boy' and a cover of The Beatles’ 'I’ve Got A Feeling' which was only ever recorded for the BBC alongside ‘In Session’ versions of tracks such as 'Tired Of Being Alone', 'Halo', 'In Our Lifetime' and 'Carnival Girl'. It’s a wonderful companion to their Greatest Hits. Universal.
