    - This study aims to assess the critical thinking dispositions of the students studying in the last year of educational faculties of the TRNC universities in terms of different variables. The study has been completed with 874 participants of teacher candidates studying in educational faculties of the University of Eastern Mediterranean, Girne American University, Lefke European University, Cyprus International University and Near East University. During the study which was conducted in accordance with the scanning model and data gathering tool of California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory Scale (CCTDI) that has been adopted into Turkish by Kokdemir (2003), meaningful differences have been seen in accordance with the following up of the cultural-artistic and economic-political agenda and cinema visits of the candidate teachers with their critical thinking dispositions.
