    - Knowledge hierarchy plays an important role within the organizational life cycle models (OLC) with regard to determining the right strategy for growing. One criterion for a successful past performance in rapidly growing firms in any industry depends on the ability to follow a strategy of differentiation based on using the same knowledge hierarchical model: physical process, data, information, knowledge and wisdom. This study tries to understand the questions as: what does determine the successful past performance of firms in terms of OLCs? How can firms analyze the knowledge hierarchical stages based on their capabilities in growing rapidly? In order to find out appropriate answers to these questions, owners/managers from 17 different firms' were approached for unstructured, in-debt interviews in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. There are eights categories that allow companies to rapidly grow and the findings depicted that; each firm had a different past performance success history. For example, they analysed the knowledge hierarchy separately and they expanded their structural networks to reach more customers and suppliers in the market. In conclusion, every firm creates its own knowledge absorption capacity based on the knowledge hierarchy to have a critical past performance success history through following the same OLC stages.
