- This paper aims to explore the processes of political liberalization in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with a specific reference to the public debates before and after the parliamentary elections held in November 2010. Within this context, domestic and regional dynamics shaping Jordanian political liberalization efforts will be analyzed and the impacts of election boycott of the Islamic Action Front, controversies on the Election Law and the unsettlement of the Palestinian – Israeli Dispute on Jordanian internal politics will be examined.
