    - This chapter is about using the Visual GLCD software package in GLCD based projects. Visual GLCD is a standalone software package used for the development of graphical user interfaces for various types of GLCDs. With the help of this software, users can create various screen designs with components placed on the screen. The software generates code that can be used directly in mikroC programs. The chapter gives examples of using the standard 128 × 64 pixel GLCDs with the Visual GLCD software. In addition, the use of the SmartGLCD module is describes with examples. SmartGLCD is a standalone module with 240 × 128 pixel large GLCD display, and it also includes a PIC microcontroller and a mikroSD card for integrated project development.
