    - Shekhar is a singer, in love with Rita. Her dad hates singers. An ill-fated rendezvous with his beloved lands Shekhar in jail. The police offer him a way out: in a nearby cell is Mike, ""the most dangerous criminal of China Town"". Mike won't rat on his accomplices. But if Shekhar (who bears an uncanny resemblance to Mike) agrees to impersonate the gangster and help the police to round up the gang, Rita's dad is bound to be impressed. Shekhar agrees. However, when he tells his mother about his resemblance to Mike, she reveals a long hidden secret that explains why this may not be a mere co-incidence. Shekhar resolves to uncover the truth and begins his perilous assignment.
