Therefore hospitality organizations need to employ effective leadership to improve their overall performance. This study investigates the influence of gender on the leadership behavior of managers in 5-Star hotels in North Cyprus. Leadership behavior was classified according to the leaders' power and behavior as autocratic, democratic, charismatic, and laissezfaire.
