N2  - In this study, size of the unrecorded economy in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is estimated econometrically by using Tanzi’s methodology which is money demand approach covering the period between 1977 and 2002. As the basic finding of the study, the ratio of the unrecorded economy to official one is calculated as 52.1%
