<br/><br/> The term "postmodern(ism)" which has been employed in various disciplines, is so amorphous and ambiguous that it cannot be defined easily. Nevertheless, once the context in which it is used, is taken into consideration, it is possible to reach what the term postmodern(ism) signifies. In this study, postmodernism conceptualized as "postmodern discourse" is analysed as a way of thinking, viz, philosophical category. The object of the study is to analyze postmodern discourse at the levels of ontology, epistemology and ethico-politics, and to explore its main parameters.
